Cafe Blue Phone: (512) 996-8188 By land: 8714 Lime Creek Road, Volente By boat: Located up the Sandy Creek Arm, which is at Mile Marker 7 (near Starnes Island) On the Web: www.cafebluetx.com Hours: Closed Tuesday & Wednesday, Open April through as late in the season as weather permits: Monday & Thursday 11 AM -10 PM; Friday 11 AM -11 PM; Saturday 10 AM -11 PM; Sunday 10 AM -10 PM Brunch Saturday and Sunday 10 AM -2 PM has items like the Starnes Island Omelet - cheese omelete topped with shrimp and crawfish Cajun cream sauce - and Blue Corn Migas! Comments: Located at Sandy Creek Marina. All-outdoor dining with covered deck and misters. Tiki torches are lit at sundown. The food is decidedly upscale by lake standards. The place to go on the north side if you're older than the "20-something" crowd. The seafood has always been very fresh and tasty. Here's what I recommend off the menu: They have great homemade potato chips with roasted garlic dip, tacos del lago (blackened redfish and homemade coleslaw in corn tortillas), pepper crusted New York strip (topped with candied pecans, blue cheese and scallions) and the blue corn tortilla crusted redfish. Oh, and the Long Island Iced Tea packs a nice punch!.

Cool, funky "hole in the wall" feel with Austin tunes. Inspired, upscale food with a casual atmosphere. So much more than your typical lake burger joint. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch – the best frittata and papas fritas I’ve ever had!

Tug's Bar-B-Que Phone: (512) 694-0335 By Boat Only: “real” Tug’s is located in Jonestown, but the “restaurant” I’m referring to is a bright yellow 1969 Stardust Cruiser, equipped with warming ovens and remodeled to look like a tugboat. This is a critical phone number to keep with you! Having too much fun to get off the lake? Call Tug's on your cell phone and tell them where you're anchored - they'll send a dingy right over with your order! (Look for them in hot party spots, like Devil's Cove).

Investment Real Estate >Investment Strategy
Real estate agents can provide you with information about how the local market has performed historically, in order to help you work out a strategy for investing in real property.
Historically, real estate has been a superb long-term investment. Many people have created fortunes on short-term investments in hot markets. Remember that the local market will be influenced by factors beyond your control, such as interest rates, economic trends, local employment opportunities, and the demand for and availability of rental housing. All of these factors are subject to change, so timing is crucial. A slow market can mean real values for buyers, but a fast market could heat up for several years, pricing timid buyers out of the market. Your real estate agent can't predict the future, but he or she can help you interpret the present.
